Nook Hair is a small dog friendly salon with a big personality located in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Rye, East Sussex.

Founded by Lucy who has more than 20 years experience in the hairdressing industry. Nook hair originally Lilly Jane Hair Salon is the first of the two unique and quirky salons created by Lucy.

Lucy doesn’t follow a one set approach, she believes that communication and listening is the key to being in tune with her clients. Instinctive cutting and colouring are second nature to Lucy when it comes to knowing what works best. 

Lucy absolutely adores cutting short hair styles but also enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, from cutting to colouring and creating unique styles tailored to the individual and their lifestyle, celebrating each person as they are.

Lucy is especially known for her fabulous balayage techniques and

supercool pixies.
